2021 South Central SETAC meeting, April 16-17, Virtual
Our 2021 South Central SETAC meeting was hosted by student members Allie Folcik (Texas A&M University), Alina Roman-Hubers (Texas A&M University) and Cameron Emadi (University of North Texas). The meeting was attended by 50 participants and featured 11 long-form presentations, 14 short-form presentations, a student training workshop on networking led by Marilyn Yeager (Associate Director of Graduate Student Services at Texas A&M), and a key note presentation by Dr. Michael Honeycutt (Director of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality). Several student presentations received awards as indicated below. Each of these students received funds to support travel to the upcoming SETAC North America meeting in Portland, OR.
